How to Apply

The application process is simple: Send us your completed application, essay and transcripts before the deadline. We look forward to receiving your application.

How to Apply

Complete an application at http://goabroad.uga.edu and submit it with an official transcript and one-page essay. To request an official “e-transcript” please visit http://www.reg.uga.edu/transcripts. Once you receive your e-transcript, it can be uploaded to your Cannes Lions application in the portal.

In addition to your application and transcripts please submit a one-page essay about your interest in advertising, how it affects your life, and why you want to be part of this program.

The Application deadline is January 20, 2017.However, applications are now set for rolling admissions. Meaning, the sooner you apply the better your chances of being selected into the program this year. Upon acceptance and commitment to the program, you will submit a $300 non-refundable program deposit via credit card on the study abroad portal. This deposit is applied directly to your total program cost. The balance of your program fee will be billed to your student account through the University of Georgia’s Bursar’s Office. If you are NOT accepted into the program after the security deposit has been made, you will be refunded the $300.

Financial Aid Information

HOPE scholarship applies to tuition for University of Georgia students. Note that changes in the HOPE scholarship mean that HOPE no longer covers 100% of tuition. Check with the University of Georgia Financial Aid Office for details on financial aid. (HOPE Scholarship funds are not available until 10 days before the start of each term.) Students from other universities may check with their home institutions for similar financial aid opportunities. It is each student’s responsibility to go to your Financial Aid Office and notify them that you are doing the Cannes Study Abroad Program and request financial aid for the summer term. This enables your Financial Aid Office to start the paperwork necessary for your scholarships and/or financial aid to be transferred to the University of Georgia.

Scholarship Information

Scholarships may be available. To apply, visit the UGA Office of International Education website at http://international.uga.edu/education-abroad/get-started/scholarships-and-financial-aid/.
